Abstract

This research deals with the analytical approach of the application of the General Data Protection Law, Law No. 13.709/2018, within the scope of the chosen institution, which is part of the Third Sector. This theme translates into a prominent issue affecting the Information Society, insofar as Civil Society Organizations that make up the Third Sector, such as the Mr. José Beneficent House, regardless of the legal framework adopted (Association, Foundation, Social Cooperative or Religious Organization), are significant collectors of personal data, including sensitive data and those of children and adolescents and, therefore, must give proper treatment to them (collection, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, archiving, storage , elimination, evaluation or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction pursuant to article 5, item X, of Law 13.709/2018). Contextualizes the Third Sector today. It focuses on the cyber ecosystem, the world's synthetic legislative history in terms of data protection, as well as the 4 (four) means (registries) through which personal data from a hybrid public enter and transit. It addresses the corporate reengineering that Third Sector entities undergo, such as the Casa de Beneficência Senhor José, due to compliance with the LGPD - General Data Protection Law.
